Job Description

WFP invites applications for a Heavy Truck Vehicle (HTV) Driver on a 6-month service contract (with possible extension) based at Achini Bala warehouse, Peshawar. The role includes operating UN fleet vehicles (trucks, tow truck, water bowser/water truck, forklift), conducting daily checks and minor maintenance, collecting fuel, completing logbooks, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and mission readiness, and reporting incidents. The driver will follow security procedures, assist with basic translations when required, and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: secondary education, formal driver training and valid HTV license, minimum 2 years of safe driving experience (preferably with an international organization/UN), knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards, basic first aid, and fluency in the UN language used at the duty station.
